Our Project and Program Managers are trained in industry preferred methodologies including PRINCE2, Waterfall and Managing Successful Programs, while working to industry best practice under the Project Management Book of Knowledge. Many hold certifications from peak industry bodies confirming their expertise.
At Downer Professional Services, we pride ourselves on being able to provide a whole of Defence Capability Life Cycle offering and mindset. Our Program Delivery Service Line can staff requirements across strategy and planning, risk mitigation and requirement setting, acquisition, and in-service and disposal. From individual and highly skilled project managers who can manage all aspects of project delivery; through to Program Managers supported by Program Management Offices staffed with consultants who have deep and specific expertise in areas such as PMO Management, Risk & Issues Management, Scheduling, Benefits Management, Organisational Change Management and Communications and Stakeholder Management.
Our contracting and procurement team has expertise across all aspects of procurement including development of high-quality Request for Tender content, the execution of Approach to Market activities including provision of expert advice to negotiation teams, establishment of contracts and ongoing vendor and contract management activities. Our contracting and procurement team are well versed in the application of public sector procurement rules, and all have expertise working within Defence or other Government agency procurement processes.
