We’ve outlined the steps of our recruitment process, so you know what to expect and how to best prepare. Please note shortlisting times will vary depending on the number of applications received but we will endeavour to respond to all applicants.
You can submit your application online. Please include your resume (preferably 2-3 pages) and make sure to answer the essential questions in the application form such as your notice period and security clearance status.
Your interview is an opportunity for us to get to know you, your unique skill set and experience, and what impact you can have at Downer Professional Services.
During your interview we’ll ask both general and behavioural questions. You’ll also be encouraged to ask some questions so you can better understand us too. You may then be asked to join us for a second interview. This is all part of our commitment to ensuring the role is right for you, and you for it, because we are determined to set you up for a successful career at Downer Professional Services.
After the interview process, successful candidates will receive a verbal offer. We will also ask you to provide contact details for your referees and to complete a background check including police check and tertiary qualification checks.
